Panzhihua (prefecture-level city in Sichuan Province, People's Republic of China) Panzhihua, a prefecture-level city in Sichuan Province, is located at the junction of Sichuan and Yunnan in southwestern China, at the southernmost tip of Sichuan, 614 kilometers from Chengdu in the north, 273 kilometers from Kunming in the south, and Lijiang and Dali in the west. It is located in the south-central part of the Panxi Rift Valley.
