CLASSIFICATION OF HOTELS/ Types of Hotels.

Hello everyone welcome to my channel. In this session we shall be discussing about Classification of Hotels. 1.APARTMENT HOTELS - They provide long-term, permanent accommodation for guests. 2. RESORT HOTELS - Are usually located on an island, on the mountains or in other exotic locations away from the city. These hotels have recreational facilities tennis, sailing, golf, beautiful sceneries and swimming pool. 3. CITY HOTELS / BUSINESS HOTELS- They are the largest groups of hotel types and cater primarily to business travelers and usually located in business districts. 4. AIRPORT HOTELS - These types of hotels mostly target business clientele, airline passengers and personnel. Some of these hotels might give free transport between hotel and airport. 5 EXTENDED STAY HOTELS – These hotels usually do not provide any F & B service or laundry services. 6 BED AND BREAKFAST HOTELS/ INNS- These are houses with rooms converted into overnight facilities; this can size up to 20 to 30 guest rooms. 7. CONFERENCE CENTRES- These types of hotels focus on meeting and conferences and overnight accommodation for meeting attendees.
