Screen Test - 4K 60fps

I made this video to test a second-hand screen I was buying at the time. I only hope it will help some of you as well. It works on monitors, TVs, laptops, digital signage displays, smartphones, tablets, any display that has aspect ratio of 16:9 such as 1920x1080 (full HD), 2560x1440 (quad HD) or 3840x2160 (4K UHD). You can also use it for other aspect ratios as long as it is stretched to fit. Tests included are listed and briefly explained below. To greatly simplify it all - test the screen you want to check but also have the same running on e.g. your smartphone or tablet to check for anything unusual between the two. Patterns and movements included in this video: 0:05 Black, Grey, White image - check for uniformity issues and dead or stuck pixels 0:14 Red, Green, Blue image - check for any imperfections 0:23 Cyan, Magenta, Yellow image - check for the same plus image burn-in 0:32 Moving subtitle text - motion and clarity of moving subtitle text 0:38 Moiré - checkerboard pattern of white and black pixels 0:42 Red, green and blue gradients - gradient smoothness (encoding and compatibility issues might render this useless) 0:51 Closing and opening iris - backlight and motion test 0:58 Flashing square - backlight test (this one looks great on OLED and similar displays) 1:04 Moving square - more of the same as above plus movement 1:13 Back to white to black fade - checking for flickering or any unusual behavior
