After leaving the Mysidian Tower, Firion's party travels back to Fynn. From there a massive cyclone is close by! It's already destroyed most of the game's other towns, and Fynn is next. What the party has to do is to spread wings in fly into the cyclone. They don't literally do that, but they rely on a Wyvern, instead. The same Wyvern whose egg was dropped into a Life Spring. This gives Ricard a great advantage (out of battle), since Dragoons have a strong relationship with Wyverns. So they ride the Wyvern into the Cyclone to discover a fortress that they're now going through. Among other things, they encounter yet another boss monster-in-a-box after retrieving the rare Wind Flute. This time it is, appropriately, the Wind Dragon. After experimenting with different primary spells, the Wind Dragon appears to be weak to Thunder. If you're trying to stall, don't do it as much, as he wields Poison Cloud XVI that can mess your entire party up at once if you're unlucky. The Emperor lies within the room the stairs next to this boss leads to. Be prepared.
