AI doesn't eliminate constraints. It moves them upstream -- into cognition. Everyone says "attention" or "humans" will be the bottleneck as AI eliminates execution barriers. From a Theory of Constraints perspective, that framing is incomplete. Dr Lisa coined a new term to describe the real bottleneck - critical systemic judgment: the capacity to frame the right problems, discard low-leverage paths, and design systems rathe than produce artifacts. AI amplifies this capability where it exists and rapidly exposes where it doesn't. In this video summary: Why attention is necessary but not sufficient What critical systemic judgment actually looks like in practice Why distributing AI evenly dilutes leverage instead of amplifying it The constraint layers most organizations confuse What this means for hiring, role design, and AI deployment This is Part 1 of a two-part series. Part 2 delivers the how-to for manufacturing job shops. Read the full article: https://www.velocityschedulingsystem....
