I remember telling him about what I did, originally kind of apprehensive, but then he went on to tell me all the stuff he worked on from singing this song to doing voices in Final Fantasy XIV and more! I was floored and we knew we had to do something together since finding other video game industry people at events like that felt so rare! I asked him if he would want to do this song even though he was the original singer and he was delighted to. My main goal with this arrangement was to recreate a lot of the synth stuff with guitar, without losing the punch the original has. I also wanted to push Jason's vocals a bit forward to really feature him since they came out so good. I also did my own few vocal lines for this! Metal Gear Rising Revengence was an important game for me as I'm a die hard Metal Gear fan and have ALWAYS been a huge fan of Raiden even since MGS2. I loved this track and the game so so much so it's a huge honor to get to recreate it with the original singer! I might have gone a liiiiitle crazy with video edits on this but I had SO much fun with it!
