Make a Rav Drum Rope Rim Cover!- Basic Technique Macrame

Hello my Friends! I have received many requests for this video! I am happy to share with you how I made the rim for my rav drum. There are quite a variety of ways to make these, but this is a good starting place for those interested in creating one! This project works best using a tightly woven cotton, para-chord, or synthetic string, that will not fray. Though this does take some time, i think you will enjoy the challenge and your Rav will look all the more amazing when you are done! The diameter of the string is 3mm and the spool is about 50 yards worth! If you do not have the resources or interest in creating your own, Guda drums and many other sites on etsy sell these!
