It comes equipped with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system delivering a combined 520 kW of power, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.97 seconds. Paired with a 102 kWh battery pack, the ES8 achieves up to 635 km of CLTC range while maintaining an efficient energy consumption rate of 16.6 kWh/100 km. Its chassis features an adaptive dual-chamber air suspension with CDC dampers, offering a 100 mm adjustment range, while the steering system supports an impressive 41-degree angle for enhanced maneuverability. In terms of design and dimensions, the ES8 measures 5,280 mm in length, 2,010 mm in width, and 1,800 mm in height, with a substantial 3,130 mm wheelbase. The SUV is constructed with an all-aluminum body structure for strength and weight efficiency and comes with large 21-inch or 22-inch wheels. Safety and practicality are also well addressed with 11 airbags, 65 active assistance features, and a 230-liter frunk for added storage capacity. Charging flexibility is enhanced with support for NIO’s signature battery swap technology, making long-distance travel more convenient. Inside, the 2026 ES8 blends premium materials and advanced technology, offering configurations for either six or seven seats. The cabin features Nappa leather upholstery, an Alcantara headliner, and the signature Nomi Mate digital assistant for personalized interaction. The centerpiece is a 15.6-inch 3K OLED infotainment screen, complemented by an AR-HUD and 5G connectivity. For driver assistance, the ES8 is equipped with a Lidar-based system featuring a 150-linear lidar setup, powered by NIO’s Shenji NX9031 and Qualcomm 8295 chips, enabling highly advanced autonomous driving capabilities.
