(15 Feb 2017) All weapons outlawed by the Minsk agreement should be pulled back by February 20, an OSCE representative told journalists after the Ukraine Contact Group meeting in Belarus on Wednesday. The special envoy of the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), Martin Sajdik, was interrupted by a group of protesters who demanded a Russian annexation of Donbass. "We don't believe in peaceful talks. We only believe in a victory of Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics," shouted one of the protesters, who identified themselves as members of left-wing radical group the Other Russia Party. The Ukrainian government and the Russia-backed rebels blamed each other for the upsurge of fighting, the worst in months. Both sides have moved heavy artillery, rockets and tanks close to the frontline in clear violation of a peace deal struck two years ago.
