(Sacramento) -- Tracking down metal thieves is about to get a lot easier for law enforcement in California, thanks to a new online database that monitors transactions at pawn shops and metal recycling centers. California State Assemblymember, Dr. Richard Pan (D-Sacramento) authored the legislation that creates the database.
