Straightening a Timber Wall on a Log Cabin

Here, I’m making an attempt to straighten a timber wall that has bulged outward. I’m using four 4-meter-long square beams, 20x20 cm in size, to clamp the wall together using M16 threaded rods and bolts. Two of the beams are placed on the outside of the wall, and the other two are positioned on the inside of the timber wall. Before I begin the work of clamping the wall together, I’m renovating the two bottom logs, which were rotten. To lift the house, I’m using two mechanical jacks, each capable of handling 3,000 kg. I’m definitely not a professional, and I’ve never done anything like this before—just an amateur figuring things out as I go. Be careful if you’re planning to do something similar; we’re dealing with heavy weights here.
