Woodturning my first small stool. What could go wrong?

In this video I will be making a small stool / plant pot stand from oak using a woodturning lathe. Originally this was a tester piece that I didn't intend on uploading however, the more I thought about it, I figured it would be nice to see the progression between this piece and my next stool. Going in doing minimal research, knowing very little about furniture building and just having a go versus the next one, which in theory, should be a more informed creation and hopefully, an improvement. I learnt a lot making this, mainly, if you want to turn multiples of anything, don't over complicate the first one as that then becomes your guide. I also had a lot of tips from other makers including Jack Mac, the legs should have a 12 degree splay which I didn't know at the time. I just wedged a piece of wood under the blank on the pilar drill to create an angle of sorts. If you haven't seen Jack's woven plywood stool yet you should definitely take a look (Link below).
