READ FIRST: Welcome aboard Via Rail Canada train 97 & Amtrak train 64, the Maple Leaf, en route from Toronto Union Station to New York Penn Station making intermediate stops at Oakville, Aldershot, St. Catherines, Niagara Falls ON, Niagara Falls NY, Buffalo Exchange Street, Buffalo Depew, Rochester, Syracuse, Rome, Utica, Amsterdam, Schenectady, Albany-Rensselaer, Hudson, Rhinecliff, Poughkeepsie, Croton-Harmon, and Yonkers. Along the way, you'll see the passing scenery, in addition to the Rochester station replacement project, lots of CSX track work and MOW equipment around Syracuse, and new unballasted track between Schenectady and Albany as part of the double track project. You are also treated to two sections of near 110 MPH running between Schenectady and Hudson, in addition to the beautiful Hudson River. Additionally, though P42DC 82's horn is pretty decent sounding, P32AC-DM 705 sounds more like an AA2 / dying elephant, unfortunately. This is EASILY the longest video I have shot, rendered, and uploaded, and though the sun does set after Poughkeepsie, if you stick around through Yonkers, you'll get a special treat.
