The customer reported the right rear wheel smoking, poor gas mileage, and suspected heat-related sticking. Diagnosis confirms a seized rear caliper piston (wheel freed after opening the bleeder, ruling out a collapsed hose). Both rear calipers are replaced due to uneven pad wear and the seizure. Ray performs a complete service: new high-carbon coated rotors (front and rear) to avoid hot-spot warping, ceramic pads (quieter, no metal flakes causing grooves), regreased slide pins, adhesive-backed shims, and new banjo bolts with crushed copper washers.
