The Semeru volcano just produced a major volcanic eruption, causing areas up to 10.6 miles or 17 kilometers away from its summit to be incinerated. An unusually lengthy series of pyroclastic flows occurred, and sadly, there were casualties. Today's video will discuss this major eruption along with what might happen next through the knowledge and analysis of a geologist.
