So - After the successful build of my Stuart S50 Steam Engine, I decided to have a go at making a Stuart 10V Steam Engine! This video is Part 10, which shows me doing a test assembly. Having already made the flywheel, conrod, crankshaft, piston, cylinder etc I thought it would be a good idea to test to see if it all works together. All the machining was carried out on my Sieg SC4 lathe and my SX2P mini mill. Future videos will cover the valve assembly, painting, final build and, hopefully, a test under steam. If you can offer me any help or advice, please leave a comment. If you would like to keep informed of my new videos, please subscribe.
