From Scrap to Stunning: Pallet Wood Laundry Powder Box

🪵 This might be the nicest thing I’ve ever made—but I’m not sure it’ll survive! In this video, I build a laundry powder box from laminated pallet wood panels. Mitre joints, rabbets, dados… all the joinery I’ve learned so far went into this build. The design is overkill for storing laundry powder—but that was just the excuse to make something pretty. 👉 The box is fully glued together, then sliced open to create a lid. It’s finished with natural polyurethane on the outside to show off the pallet wood grain and painted white on the inside to keep it clean and match the powder. 💥 BUT… I’m already wondering if it’ll explode over time due to wood movement.
