This one is a bit different from my usual Entries. Me and my friends took the train to Vidin, the north-westernmost city in Bulgaria. It sits right next to the Danube, close to Romania, and very near Serbia. The train ride was long — around 5.5 hours each way — so we stayed overnight and had time to walk around and experience the city. The main reason for the trip was Baba Vida Fortress, and it was honestly amazing. Raw, open, and very real. Definitely not the safest place for small kids, but exactly the kind of place I love — no rails, no filters, just stone, height, and history. Vidin itself feels old. Not always in a polished way, but if you take your time, there are some really nice moments. This isn’t a numbered Entry.
