It's time to pot up the dahlia tubers that have been overwintering in my basement. Join me to see how pot up and divide the tubers to grow even more plants for free! Last year was such an incredible first year growing dahlias on my allotment. They have such big flowers and bloom for months on end! I can't wait to see these bloom for an even bigger display this summer, going into the autumn months. My dahlia tubers got so big that some of my pots weren't quite big enough really. Make sure you give your dahlias grow space around the tubers that will also help prevent damaging them when it comes to planting them out. I hope to keep them in the ground this year and mulch them instead!
