While competing on the 2017 East African Safari Classic Rally, we were forced to change the engine in the Porsche 911 of Stig Blomqvist and Mattias Adielsson, which at the time was leading the event. Tuthill Porsche mechanics and crew managed to fit the engine and transmission in under twelve minutes, from the time the car arrived at the stop to the time the car went on its way. Sadly, Stig lost more time later on in the rally and could not repeat his 2015 Safari victory, but fitting this engine and gearbox in such a short time was a great demonstration of teamwork!
