This is a video demonstrating the FDA cleared Minimally Invasive Ponto Surgery, MIPS. MIPS a single stage surgical procedure for placing a Ponto bone anchored implant. The proven tissue preservation surgery used with the Ponto System has now been further refined to offer an even less invasive procedure. MIPS is supported by a complete kit of surgical components designed to minimize post-op complications and provide tactility and surgical control. This video does not replace the Surgical Manual for the Ponto System or the Addendum to the surgical manual including MIPS. It is important to read the Surgical Manual and its Addendum for a detailed description of patient indications, contra indications and recommended procedures including warnings and cautions.
