I've come to Oaxaca City in Mexico to learn Spanish and open myself up to new experiences. I love to travel slowly and let a place gradually reveal itself to me over time. During my first week alone in Oaxaca, my senses felt so open and alive. I was flooded with new smells, sounds, sights, tastes, and connections. I found myself longing for moments of spaciousness and ease to allow myself to process and soak up all of this new stimulation. These moments of spaciousness were found in my solitude, in my morning routines, in rooftop sunsets, in dancing, in writing and in serendipitous encounters with strangers. It definitely felt like life took me on a journey in this week alone in Oaxaca. Now, I am reaching out to you to take you on this journey with me. I hope you enjoy it.
