When we first decided that we actually wanted to pursue buying land, there's this weird moment where you're like "Well... I guess let's go look at pieces of land for sale?" Fortunately for us, it ended up taking many years to be able to steward land in the Southeast US- because we had a lot of ideas that would have made things very difficult. Here are some of those things. I got a lot of comments on my last video, and while so so many were incredibly nice and in good faith, there is the 1 out of every 100 that I'd prefer not to have floating around in my head, so I think I'm going to avert my eyes from the comment section. In lieu of responding to questions, if you're interested in this sort of thing, here's a few of the people and books I've been learning from/finding inspiration in recently. Should also mention that I don't get anything from these folks - just like what they do. Obviously, the Hand Sculpted House by Ianto Evans, Michael G.
