Old insulation removal with a vacuum truck from a 150-year-old school building. During the renovation of historical buildings, it is often necessary to remove the old insulation before construction work can begin. This may include materials such as sawdust, sand, flax shives, or other substances that were used for insulation more than a century ago. BUCHEN Industrial Services Baltikum uses dry suction trucks for such tasks. The dry suction method allows for the efficient and dust-free removal of old insulation. By agreement with the client, the truck can be emptied into an on-site multilift container or the material can be transported directly to a waste station. In the case of the Pärnu Kuninga Street School project, we used two dry suction trucks simultaneously, as the amount of insulation to be removed was very large. Using two machines made it possible to complete the work ahead of schedule, allowing the client to proceed with construction sooner.
