Team Doinya went elephantine and we got this 12 minute DSC. There's a few too many mistakes in this run, so hopefully we can come back and lower it after a break. Special thanks to Naya for letting me use his account (since I don't have a filo), and coach Chris for his helpful insight. Verified at: https://www.speedrun.com/destiny2/run... Brief explanation: Opening: Although it's a bit hard to see, my teammates instantly fire truth rockets at the ads that spawn. Thus allowing us to open the door as soon as we get there. Entrance: We have 3 people sparrow because it makes first encounter faster. We glitch frostbite so that we can take the fastest route through the sparrow section. First encounter (Crypt Security): I pick up scanner out of bounds because it helps speed up call outs, especially on the fuses since I never have to move left or right to see the light/dark side fuses. My teammates use a combination of Fourth Horseman and Xeno to kill the fuses quickly. We send operator down through the floor (as it's faster than waiting for the machine), Acey starts the encounter then kills himself so that Aoterra can pick it up in the basement (through the floor). Second encounter (Atraks-1): This one is interesting, I make it back out of the door and proceed to skip ahead to third encounter. My teammates 5 man Atraks, Aoterra goes out of bounds and uses divinity to debuff the captain. Since atraks's HP is tied to the captain this is the only way to successfully debuff him. We then have 4 people 1 floor atraks by shooting EoT and throwing nova bombs. (extra info about atraks: Essentially what Bungie has done is link atraks hp to the captain. So if you damage him it damages atraks. They placed this captain in the room you enter after completing atraks, thankfully there is a tiny crack into that room tho. Thus allowing us to shoot at him from outside the map. What's interesting is that the normal atraks clones in the encounter can not be debuffed (with tractor, div, tether etc.) but the captain Bungie has placed out of bounds can be debuffed. So when my teammate, Aoterra, applies divinity to that captain, my other teammates do 30% more damage to the atraks clone. This lets us kill him with 4 people on EoT and one person on div.) Third encounter (Crash): Probably the least interesting, we just try to kill the ads as fast as possible. Mainly by using Witherhoard and Anarchy. Final encounter (Taniks): We all rally, then kill the first wave of ads as quick as possible. Once that's done we place anarchy on all doors, this is to allow what we call fast dps. It turns out that dps starts way faster if you kill all the ads that spawn as you're depositing the nukes. To make sure we kill every dreg we have to place anarchy on all doors prior to shooting Taniks legs. To get the timing right for dps I Anarchy my captain (which is the final ad, so damage phase starts as soon as he dies). For damage we use Divinity and slug shotguns. Thanks for watching : )
