British Enduro Round 1 - Laggan Wolftrax

Ride Log -   / strava   My very first enduro race was at Laggan Wolftrax back in 2018, so when I seen that Tweedlove managed to get it going again, I booked my spot. I love this place, and I know the trail centre side quite well, so I thought I could be fairly competitive. I could have justified using my Claymore enduro bike for this, but I opted to take the Highlander trail bike instead. My thought process being that for the pedaling sections, the Highlander would be better, and there were a few pedaling sections to be fair. I don't know if I would have been quicker on the Claymore, but I am happy with getting 19th out of 96 entrants in my class. The top 8 roughly being pro level riders. Annoyingly, I know I could have went better and gotten clearer run had I chosen to have been a seeded rider. This means that I'll have to do another race or two to see if I can improve.
