It's our Documentary extravaganza on today's episode of the LJMU MA Short Film Festival Podcast! What documentaries are on our strand? What makes a good documentary? How can students hone their documentary filmmaking skills? Surely you don't expect us to spoil that in the description right? We were incredibly fortunate to be visited by one of this year's Documentary programmers and our Social Media Manager, Zoe Lodge, to talk to us all about the process of curating the strand and what audiences can expect to see during the festival. Additionally, we were joined by the excellent writer/actor Felix Mufti of Sex Education and Lonelier than Love fame who was kind enough to offer us some advice on filmmaking and industry. Furthermore, last year's Documentary Strand winner and director of Swim Higher, Cecilia Palmeri, generously joined us to share her experiences with filmmaking and the festival last year!
