hello friends... This is an informative video for educational purpose. Recently Tanishq, a jeweler brand under Tata Group, released and ad which became a subject of controversy. In that ad, one Hindu girl was shown as a daughter in law of a Muslim family. But this point became a point of backlash for Tanishq group and was badly trolled. They also faced some protest at their showrooms. few demanded boycott of tanishq products. A group of people called this video as promoting love jihad. other group came in support of Tanishq saying there was nothing wrong with advertisement. Tanishq took down the ad from all the platforms seeking the security of their staff members. In this video I have tried to look into the issue with a realist and critical point of view. In this video I have tried to look into the point of views of both the sides. Also highlighted the existing segregation on Indian society in the name of Caste system in both Hindus and Muslims. I have Tried to explain the Reasons for such backlash when inter-caste and interfaith marriages are considered. Class Variations, Role of conventional media, role of social media, socio-political organizations, and religious tendencies have been discussed. Also effects of such Narrative like Love jihad on, Political discourse Women and Genetic variation have been discussed. A way forward from this situation has also been discussed in this video. In which high emphasis as been given on national identity & Uniform Civil Code. A nation that is divided in the name of caste and religion cannot become a super power.
