Basic Life Process of The Human Body (01) Metabolism - Metabolism is a set of chemical reactions that takes place mainly in the liver to maintain a normal life. (A) Catabolism = breakdown of the complex chemicals into simpler components that can be easily utilized by the body and used for optimum growth and development. Example – Protein breaks into amino acids. (B) Anabolism = combination of smaller components to build complex chemical substances. Combination of amino acids again to make newer protein (02) Movement - It represents the motion of either the whole body, organ or even single cell. Example – Any injury or infection stimulates the WBC to move from blood towards the injured site to repair or heal the injured part. (03) Responsiveness - It is the ability of the body to detect or respond to any of the changes in its internal or external environment. Example – Endocrine cell in the pancreas detect the elevated blood sugar level and start secreting insulin to normalize the sugar level. (04) Growth - It is characterized by an increase in the body size by either hypertrophy (Increase in cell size) or Hyperplasia (Increase in number of cell) or both (05) Differentiation - This is one of the characteristics of the cell by which it develops from an unspecialized state to a specialized state with different forms and function then its unspecialized ancestor cells. Example- Red bone marrow contain unspecialized ancestor cells that differentiate to form RBC and different types of WBC (06) Reproduction - It includes cell division and the formation of new cells for the growth, repair or production of a new individual. Example- Epithelial cells undergo cell division throughout the lifetime for growth or repair the worn-out cells Get in touch with the solution by just clicking the following links- Facebook Group-   / solutionpharamcy   Mobile App - https://play.google.com/store/apps/de...
