This is what it's like to stay at an airplane hotel in Costa Rica! The hotel is named Costa Verde and they have a total of 3 airplanes rooms, as well as an airplane restaurant nestled between Manuel Antonio National Park and the Pacific Ocean vistas. One of their most popular hotels is their vintage 1965 Boeing 727 airframe, which, in its prior life, shuttled globetrotters on South Africa Air and Avianca Airlines. I had the pleasure of staying in their newest airplane hotel, the "Cockpit Cabana" which features two queen beds, a large balcony and a private soak tub, all with the best ocean views.
