In this lesson I'll show you three common walk-downs you'll encounter in the Key of G — all of which can be **played while strumming**. This allows you to capture that beautiful descending sounds of the bassline in transition, while simultaneously filling things out with light brushes on the thinner strings. Each of the three walkdowns I’ll teach is to be played over a D major chord when transitioning to a G major chord. In the key of G, this is known as a "perfect cadence," which happens in any key when the dominant chord (D in this case) resolves to the tonic (G). You can use these walkdowns any time you're transitioning from D to G — which again, will happen quite often when playing any song in the Key of G. 0:00 Lesson Overview 1:45 Walkdown #1 6:18 Walkdown #2 10:02 Walkdown #3 14:42 Practice Tips Thanks for watching!
