let me be clear. I do not support animal cruelty. nor do I support misinformation.. Do you actually believe that not buying leather boots will save cows??? I buy cows because they are tasty and provide Protein, Iron, Zinc, Vitamins B6 & B12 and that's just a few of the MANY nutrients found in beef and the real reason why cows are harvested..not boots That's the point of this video, to bring light to the REAL REASON Badgers are HARVESTED in China..it is NOT for the hair.. In China Dogs, Cats, Turtles Pangolin, Civets, Balut, Silkworms, Sheep Penis and Chicken Testicles, Peacocks and even Bats are eaten daily and by tens of thousands. Somewhere around 2018 a topic that I assume had been going on for years caught my attention. In 2018 PETA was heavily involved with the fur trade in China. That involvement and the conversation that carried with it naturally made its way into the shave community. PETA's involvement has changed nothing in China btw. The Chinese have found loopholes for every tariff and regulation. The tariffs are NOT working btw. I use all types of shaving brushes. Currently I own 42 synthetic 4 Boar 2 horse and 41 badger. Synthetic brushes are made from chemicals and petroleum based products that carry with them their own risks to the environment and badgers living in China. If you are looking for a brush that does not directly harm animals or the planet your best option is horse and not synthetic like PETA suggests or many other "anti" badger brush forums and blogs. Synthetic materials are HORRIBLE for the planet. The argument that badgers are harvested for hair is weak.
