Each one has their own story arc with an opening animated sequence and single screen of text that sets the mood. Then after beating Shang Tsung, you get the final two screens with a still graphic and text detailing the continuation of their story. Here we have KANO, a mercenary. He has a wicked glowing throw weapon, and a flying spinning attack (which makes no logical sense at all). His fatality is gruesome... but turns into a decidedly different kind of impression when performed against Sonya. Not my favorite to play, although not the worst at all. He just feels a little more slow, and his range isn't as good for kicks and uppercuts. But here is his story arc...
