We’ve been on the lookout for a decent tent for winter camping/hot tenting, as an alternative to our Dream-house Tipi hot tent, the latter of which we are now finding is a little too small for myself and the three pups. It’s taken lots of research and checking out numerous product reviews, but we finally found a tent which we think will fit our requirements perfectly! So what did we end up purchasing? Drum roll please ……. It’s the Nordic Legend Aurora Lodge Ice Shelter / hot tent, which we used for the first time on a recent winter camping trip to Banff National Park. We were hoping to use the new Red Mountain Valley wood-stove that we’d also recently purchased (check out the video here • Red Mountain Valley WOOD BURNING STOVE | F... ), but the only available pitch at the campground didn’t allow for fire permits, so we were unable to use the wood-stove …. booo! Rather than head home empty handed with no video to share, we decided to do a quick tour/review of the Aurora shelter instead, and that’s what you will find in this video. I hope you like what you see, and that you find it useful should you stick around to watch the entire video. The weather in Alberta is due to get a little chilly again over the coming days, but we are still hoping to get out for another winter camp-out in this shelter and will get to use the wood-stove to keep things nice and cosy in there. It goes without saying that you are of course invited to join us in our next video, if it’s your kind of thing. In the meantime, thanks to all my subscribers for your continued support, and welcome to anybody else that decides to join us on a more regular basis
