Foreign Power Hits The Railroad Diamonds, 2 Trains Pass In A Row Perfectly Timed At A 3 Track Railroad Crossing. Restored Caboose And Huge Coke Train In Deshler Ohio. Kansas City Southern, BNSF And CSX Power With Excessively Long Trains. Includes Trains With DPUs. These railroad diamonds are where two CSX lines cross in northern Ohio and they also have several connections. We will see trains crossing the diamonds and trains using the east and west legs of the wye to connect from one line to another. The Toledo Sub in this video still has the old Baltimore And Ohio Railroad signals still in use. My favorite part of this video was when I was filming an eastbound CSX train that was close to two miles long. Just as the rear of the train approaches the railroad crossing a westbound train honks the horn a few times as it crosses the road. Cars got to wait for two trains in a row. The second train was a huge coke train that had some of the tall side coke cars. Coke is lighter than coal so they can pile more of it in a hopper car by extending the sides. I rode up here with Scott, @1960gambit and we hung out in the area of Crossroads Park to get all kinds of CSX action. I also show the caboose that is displayed in town. It has been completely repainted and restored since the last time that I filmed it here. This is a really sharp caboose!
