Caspian Gull [1st w], Brixham Harbour, 19.2.26

First winter Caspian Gull roosting on a pontoon in Brixham Harbour, Devon UK. Caspian Gull is a scarce, but regular visitor to The UK. This bird, 1 of 4 seen in the harbour, had eluded me on several previous occasions & was the main reason for yet another visit to Brixham. In a quirk of fate, I had videoed & photoed this bird thinking it looked different to the other gulls, but dismissed it through lack of expertise. It was not until later while still waiting to see it, I showed the video to a more experienced birder who instantly recognised it as a Caspian Gull!
