Path of Exile Betrayal - An update to the Cold Damage Over Time Occultist Build I talked about on the Exiled Podcast with Ziz - Cold Snap and Vortex have proven very powerful and CI / energy shield builds seem to be stronger than ever with the occultist buffs and more energy shield available from the tree and gear along with a powerful new ES heal from the focus skill. Kill all bandits. Level with freeze pulse, frostbomb and then Ice Nova + Trap in Act 1 and 2. The Swap to Cold Snap and Vortex with Frost Bomb support when you get them. Ascendancy Progression: Void Beacon from Normal Lab Wicked Ward from Cruel Vile Bastion from Merc Finish up with Frigid Wake Auras are Discipline and a Frost Bite Blasphemy Curse. You can either get a second curse or Aspect of the Spider.
