Here's a nice recap of day 3 of Kendall's week long Big Boy adventure. The day starts with Big Boy departing the Western Pacific Railroad Museum at Portola before heading the former Western Pacific line through the Feather River Canyon into the Central Valley. Along the way, we'll see some incredible shots of the locomotive going through beautiful forest land that surrounds the line, including great canyon shots. This is part of the UP Steam Tour of 2024.
