Do you need to redact personally identifiable information from BWC footage? With CaseGuard Studio you can quickly and effectively redact licenses, license plates, faces, and screens all at once. -- • First, open CaseGuard and click New Project. • Give your project a descriptive name and add any needed information or redaction reasons. • Next, select the file you would like to redact. • Once the files are added to CaseGuard you will notice your workspace changes based on the type of file added in. • Before redacting we recommend watching through the video so you know what to redact. • Select AI Video from the left toolbar to select the AI redaction option. • In the first window select AI redaction and select face/heads, notepads, screens and license plates. • Next select the shape and effect you would like your redactions to use, as well as any redaction reasons. • Select the range you want to apply your redactions to in the next window. • Select any advanced options you would like applied to your video next and in the final AI window. • Select "Apply" and the AI will begin redacting your video. • Wait for the AI to finish then begin reviewing the video. • Use object tracking and Manual redaction to fix any frames the AI missed. • Use the disable tool to remove redaction from any object or person that does not need to be redacted. • Once satisfied with your video select the blue export button at the top right of CaseGuard to export your video. • Once the export completes your exported video will appear in the project files panel. #foia #privacylaws #redaction #records #lawenforcement
