Nothing too special I think because ABDGLQV is the easiest route in the game but it is a NMNB with good scoring. Made by Taito, Darius can be said to be one of the top three of horizontal shmups, along with Gradius and R-Type and has been around for a long time. The first game in the series was released in 1986 and used a peculiar three monitor setup and it was quite a sight in the arcades. However unless you have three monitors prepare to squint a lot at the screen if you try to play it. Darius Gaiden is one of the best entries in the Darius series and is often the one that is played and talked about the most. One of the defining features of the Darius series are the huge amount of stages and branching paths. This game for example has 28 different stages and 7 different final bosses and endings. The music also gives a very surrealistic feel to the games. And of course you fight fish. In space. The game is not terribly difficult so I think that anyone can really enjoy and beat it.
