On my last video I did a boil test with the VARGO Titanium Hexagon Wood Stove where I left the door open as per suggestion from a couple of viewer. This was becuase the Trangia burner was blocking the vent holes on the bottom of the VARGO Titanium Hexagon Wood Stove and it looked like the burner didn't get enough air. The flame was all yellow. In the video I use an Evernew Titanium Cross Stand to raise the Trangia burner off of the vent holes plus this would shorten the distance between the top of the burner to the bottom of the pot. With the Trangia burner sitting on the bottom of the stove the distance is about 2 inches. We've found in the past that the distance should be closer to 1 inch. Not to give away the video but it didn't work so well. The test gave an even longer boil time than the last test. Oh well, back to the drawing board.
