South Africa's G20 has entered its last 100 days. So with just weeks to the G20 Leaders' Summit in November, faith communities are raising their voices. The G20 Interfaith Forum took place two weeks ago in the Western Cape where they focused on five key priorities that they would like to be adopted into a resolution. At that forum leaders warned that corruption, hunger, and inequality are not only economic crises, they are moral failures. Notably, Archbishop Thabo Makgoba made the point that "Ubuntu is broken" when children starve and food is left to rot. Bishop Sipuka said food security must be about agency, not dependency. And today, we ask our guests: how should faith communities hold governments accountable, and what role should they play in building a more just and sustainable global order?
