First I removed the zip ties holding the receiver so I could move it further back. I added strong velcro to hold it in place. I needed to move the receiver further back because I already knew I would have to be able to squeeze the flight battery in sideways and as far back as possible. To do that I had to neatly cut out some of the fuselage. With more space in the front of the fuselage I could more easily install the Walksnail GM3 gimbal with the HD Pro Kit FPV camera. I mounted the VTX on the size of the frame with a small fan for cooling attached to it. Due to a previous FPV helicopter experience the first flight was with Standby enabled (via the Googles L menu option) to ensure the FPV system was running at low power and unlikely to interfere with the FlyWing flight controller or GPS unit. This was successful BUT I obviously had limited range. For second flight I had Standby disabled and FPV transmission power running at 25mw. There was a little interference on the FPV view and I did lose FPV feed for a couple of seconds. Overall the flight was successful and I will do a longer range flight next time.
