A postmenopausal woman had bleeding due to thickening of the uterus lining (cystic endometrial hyperplasia). She had a history of three previous cesarean deliveries, which had caused her bladder to stick tightly to the uterus. Despite this, Dr Aditi Bhardwaj performed a total laparoscopic hysterectomy (removal of the uterus through keyhole surgery) safely. The surgery was done with minimal bleeding, and the bladder was carefully separated without injury.
