I Refurbish Our Stainless Steel Stove Top. Bye Bye Scratches!

I decide to clean up and refurbish our very old stove for my wife's birthday. I will also buy her a nice present since I am also cleaning this stove up for me! First order of business was to remove scratches on the stainless steel stove top! I cleaned the surface with Scotch Brite Scuff Pads. First the white one, then the maroon one, and then the gray one! I watched an expert clean a stove top on YouTube and followed his example as best as possible. I was very pleased with the result!! I also cleaned the area under the stove top and the drip pans and burners. I also cleaned the oven and the area inside the oven door which really needed it. Of course, I cleaned the outside of the stove, too. I used a variety of cleaning materials including SOS, dish washing detergent, car wash liquid, rubbing compound, sand paper, and Armor All. This project took three hours and I could have spent another hour or two. It was actually a fun and very satisfying project!
