ご視聴ありがとうございます♪ アメリカ・ロサンゼルス在住のアラフィフおじさんの日常を配信しています。 今回は、パシフィック・パリセーズにある Riviera Country Clubで開催された Genesis Invitational 最終日を観戦してきました。 この日はトーナメント観戦だけでなく、 ご縁があり、オーナーご家族の案内で クラブハウス内部や 通常は立ち入れないエリアにも入ることができました。 歴史あるクラブの空気を、 間近で感じられる貴重な体験でした。 コースでは、 松山英樹選手をかなり近い距離で観ることができ、 さらに、今大会で優勝した J. In addition to watching the tournament, I had a rare opportunity to tour inside the clubhouse and access areas normally closed to the public, thanks to a personal introduction from the owner’s family. It was a special chance to experience the atmosphere of this historic club up close. On the course, I was able to see Hideki Matsuyama play from a very close distance, and I also followed the eventual winner, J. Bridgeman, starting from the first hole. Watching the final day live really highlights the intensity and precision of top‑level professional golf. Riviera Country Club opened in 1926 and is one of the most iconic private clubs in Los Angeles. Often referred to as “Hogan’s Alley,” the course has hosted legendary moments throughout golf history and remains a key venue on the PGA Tour. The club is currently owned by Japanese businessman Noboru Watanabe, who acquired Riviera in the late 1980s. Under his ownership, the club has preserved its traditions while continuing to elevate its global reputation.
