I sit here thinking what I could possibly put in this description that would accurately convey the shame I have right now for having recorded a three hour video – not on actual solo play, or instructions on how to solo play – but merely about the idea of solo playing Vaesen Like… I start out in the video thinking I'm just gonna bulldoze right into it. I even gave myself a peptalk like, "here we go Man Alone… no BS this time. Just get right into it. You don't need this big preamble. Everybody knows about this game. Everybody wants to hear about it. So just get into it." And then somehow, through some sort of weird alchemy of time and fate and cybernetics, or actually probably just some essential glitch in not only my personality but also my values, and genetics, and… everything, somehow I finished and when I put all the clips together I had to come to terms with the fact that this is how I just spent three hours. How did it get like this? How did everything that happened before trace a line that ended at this very moment?
