LLANELLI All-stars played a Wales All-stars side on Sunday April 26 at Stebonheath Park. It was in aid of Llanelli AFC charity, with the proceeds of the game going to four good causes. The recent Latvian and Lithuanian Orphan visit to Llanelli, the Jordan Fuge Appeal, Gôl - the Wales Football Supporters Charity and Diabetes. Top of the bill at Stebo was ex-Wales International striker John Hartson. He was supported by ex-Welsh internationals Andy Legg, Matthew Jones, Jason Bowen, Terry Boyle, Wales B and Under-21 star Stuart Roberts and semi-pro internationals Rhys Griffiths, Chris Holloway and Tony Pennock. The Reds' side were old and young Stebo favourites such as Glan Letheran, Tony Smolka, Leigh Randall, Stephen Evans, Marvin Arthur, Mark Dickeson, Kevin McNab, Mike Hurley, Antonio Corbiseiro, Gary Lloyd and Steven Myers. The rest of the players who took part were Reds fans and players from local clubs who have raised sponsor money to help the event.
