Watch along as Larry Potterfield, Founder and CEO of MidwayUSA, explains the process for straightening a bent ejector rod in this presentation. He starts by disassembling the gun and removing the ejector rod. The rod is then chucked in a drill press and a dial indicator is mounted to the press table. By hand turning the quill, the dial indicator is used to measure the amount of runout that is present. Using a nylon faced hammer, the rod is tapped back into alignment until the excessive runout is removed. Then the revolver is ready to be reassembled.
