The fourth of the compilation of train videos covers the prolific and signature traction control system from Bombardier Transportation, the IGBT-VVVF based Bombardier MITRAC. They are used in a number of products, including Bombardier Movia Metro, Bombardier Flexity light rail vehicles, Bombardier Electrostar EMUs, Bombardier Innovia Metro and even the high-speed Bombardier Zefiro. The timeline of this video goes back to 1998 when the IGBT-VVVF traction control technology has being introduced in RapidKL (then Putra LRT) new rolling stock, in chronological order to the more recent Adelaide Metro 4000 Series (A-City).
